What does Romeo & Juliet, Madame De Pompadour and The Last Emperor have in common?
They are the source of inspiration in our new wallpaper collection for Swedish print company Photowall.
This time we have turned to theater and drama in our hunt for new wall stories.
Nordic nature is our basis also for this collection, but this time we have lead world known
historic drama into our Scandinavian woods.
We challenged ourselves to create three different stories based on the same design.
The theatrical play a central part in the collection. We want to visualize our thougts around
Shakespeare’s fantastic story about Romeo and Juliet, the almost mythical Madame De Pompadour
and the historic drama connected to The Last Emperor of China. Changes in colour and
structure visualize moods from decadent Paris in France, dangerous love in Verona, Italy,
and secret beauty in The Forbidden City in China.
All painted on a backdrop of cool Nordic nature…
