Landscape of a thousand paths

In Skibotn, and Skibotn valley unumerous paths has been walked on for hundreds of years.
The small village is situated by the Lyngen fjord in northern Norway. It’s a short way from sea to summit.
You can klimb the mountains by day and enjoy the fjord in the evening.

The Finnish border is close and one can easily klimb the 745 steps to the top of Saana mountain overlooking the vast highlands where reindeer make their own paths.

The paths evolves naturally, showing where humans and animals prefer to walk. Often crossing each other, splitt up – and disappearing in the undergrowth.

Our designer and partner Ann-Tove, origins from Skibotn and treads the many paths whenever she is visiting. Allways accompanied by her father’s dog, Ida.
