Sudden emerald green island…

Summer is here! Radøy is vividly green, the wind is warm and airy with a hint of salt sea. We must freshen up the old hand woven mats! Time for a stroll in the meadows. No sheep to be seen today.

So much to be done at the Steinshaug country house! First: Try out the new hammock.And what to do with all the stones scattered around outside the house? Build a garden bench of course!

The new ceramic bird bath (from a thrift shop in Bergen) is being inaugurated and approved. Yay! Our new bonfire place made of old bricks found behind the shed seems to work as it should.
It’s time to roast something…

Herbs brought from the garden in Bergen give taste to the salad. Now we can enjoy the fabulous north sea view.
“Narcissus poeticus” are almost luminescent in the evening sun.

The sun has sunk in the sea leaving pink kissed clouds behind. The colour matches Hidden Bird, pinkgrey from our latest wallpaper collection. Time to turn in for the night.
